OneCV, at onecv.work, is an online resume and cover letter builder. You write your experience once, choose from 105 resume templates and 70 cover letter templates, and switch designs whenever you like without retyping a word. OneCV lays out every page for you and gives you a PDF with selectable text and no watermark.
Why we built it
A resume is a document you rewrite for every application, and most of that work is layout: spacing, page breaks, keeping two versions in step. We built OneCV so the writing stays in one place and the design is a setting you can change at any time.
We also wanted the free plan to be enough to get a job. On Free you get one resume, one cover letter, every template and unlimited PDF downloads with no watermark, and you don’t need a card to sign up.
How OneCV makes money
From Pro, which costs $10 a month or $48 a year. Pro adds unlimited resumes, cover letters and imports, the job application tracker, your own domain for your resume and 300 AI writing actions a month. If you ask within 14 days of a charge, we refund it in full. Polar sells Pro as the merchant of record and handles checkout, taxes and receipts.
We don’t show ads, we don’t sell or rent personal data, and we don’t use your documents to train AI models.
How we handle your data
- Your resumes and letters are stored in your account so you can open them on any device. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings.
- When you import a resume, your browser reads the file. The file itself never leaves your device, and only the text you keep is saved.
- The ATS resume checker runs entirely in your browser, with no account and nothing uploaded.
- Analytics that use cookies run only if you allow them in the cookie banner.
The privacy policy lists every company that helps run OneCV, what each one receives and where it stores it.
How we write our guides
The OneCV blog answers the questions people ask while writing a resume or cover letter. We quote career offices, employers and official sources by name, and when a claim can be tested, we test it ourselves and show how. That’s how we compared 35 resume fonts, ran PDF and Word resumes through text extraction and traced the claim that ATS software rejects 75% of resumes back to its source.
